Workflow automation
Approval Layer
Keep the flow. Keep the judgment.
The problem
Repeated approval prompts interrupt development, but treating every request alike loses the distinction between routine work and consequential actions.
The approach
A Python bridge reads paused Cursor CLI prompts through herdr, applies hard escalation rules, and uses an isolated one-shot Pi judgment for policy decisions. The normal flow approves once or leaves the request for human review, with structured decision logging.
- Prompt parsing and policy-based triage
- Hard escalation for consequential actions
- Dry-run support and decision logs
Experimental workflow tooling, not a security guarantee. A separate permissive mode exists; the policy-judged flow described here retains escalation for hard-rule matches and uncertain judgments.
